Tommy Walsh
Tommy left school to work with his father, manufacturing garden products and hard landscaping. He met the executive producer of Ground Force while engaged in building work on her house. She asked his opinion on various pilots and was so impressed by his knowledge that she invited him
to screen test with another unknown named Charlie Dimmock, and they both joined the Ground Force team.
He has also presented his own DIY shows for Discovery: — Space Invaders & Trading Places. Recently Tommy has appeared regularly as DIY expert on House Call. His book Ground Force Practical Garden Projects is in the UK’s bestsellers list.
