Born in Cardiff, on February 21, 1986, Charlotte Church became an international sensation with the release of her debut album, Voice Of An Angel, just after she'd turned 13. That record, as did her 1999 self-titled second album and her 2000 Christmas collection Dream A Dream, achieved platinum status in the USA.

Charlotte Church Book: "Voice of an Angel"
At just 14 Charlotte Church was said to have the voice of an angel a 23-year-old angel. She lives with her parents, Maria and James, in Cardiff. By the time she was eight the purity of her voice had won her many local singing competitions and when she responded to a request from a daytime television programme to hear from 'talented kids' the sound of her voice singing on the phone caused the producers to invite her on to the show, which she completely stole.
